OpenAI Adds Canva Plugin to ChatGPT: Use It Right Now

September 5, 2023: OpenAI is making a big leap in the AI world. They have added a Canva plugin to ChatGPT, their famous chatbot. This is a big deal for people who want to make things like logos or banners without much fuss.

Before this, using ChatGPT and Canva together was a bit hard. People had to do lots of steps by hand. But now, this new plugin makes everything easier. It’s a few clicks and you’re done!

To get this new feature, you first have to open ChatGPT on your web browser.

Then go to the ‘Plugin Store‘ which you will find in the plugin section.

Here, installing the Canva plugin is very easy.

Once the Canva plugin is added, go back to ChatGPT’s main window. There, pick ‘Canva‘ from the plugin list.

Now, you can tell the chatbot what kind of visual thing you want. For example, you could say, “Make me a Twitter banner, I love AI.”

ChatGPT will then show you some options. Pick the one you like, make some edits in Canva, and download it to use however you want.

The best part? This feature is only for ChatGPT Plus users. They pay $20 a month and get to use this plugin. They also get other cool stuff like using a bigger, smarter version of ChatGPT that can even work with pictures.

Not everyone thinks this new feature is amazing, though. Some tried it and weren’t very happy with what they got. But hey, maybe they just need to ask the chatbot better questions.

ChatGPT is not the only smart chatbot out there. Others like Claude AI and Google’s Bard are also trying to be the best. That’s why OpenAI keeps making ChatGPT better. They even had a web browser feature but had to remove it because people found a way to see stuff they shouldn’t.

This new plugin is part of a bigger plan. OpenAI wants to make ChatGPT useful for lots of different things. Before this, they even made it work with Microsoft Bing, but that feature was taken away.
