Mukesh said he will keep being the company’s chairman and will guide the next generation for five more years.
But that wasn’t all. Reliance will soon launch a service called AirFiber, which promises high-speed internet without the need for any wires.
This service will kick off on September 19. The internet will work just by plugging in a device, making it really easy for users.
The meeting also had big news about Artificial Intelligence, or AI. Mukesh said Reliance is getting ready to have a lot of computer power for AI work. The company wants to use AI to help people, businesses, and the government in India.
He even promised, “AI to everyone, everywhere.”
On the topic of the environment, Mukesh announced plans to create 100 plants that will turn farm waste into gas. This effort aims to help the planet by reducing waste and carbon emissions.
Lastly, Nita, who runs Reliance Foundation, talked about a new project to help women in India. She said they aim to help one million women start their own businesses.
This project is in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and aims to help these women earn at least ₹1 lakh per year.
So, Reliance is making big moves, from changing its board to launching new tech and social projects.
Mukesh believes these steps will make a positive impact in India and beyond.
