Apptronik has made a humanoid robot named Apollo. This robot is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. Apollo can carry up to 55 pounds and is designed to work in warehouses and factories.

The company says this new robot can help places where it’s hard to find workers. Jeff Cardenas, who helps run Apptronik, says, “Apollo is one of the most advanced tools humanity has ever created.”

Apollo’s body has screens to show messages and its battery life. The battery lasts four hours. You can also swap the battery to keep the robot working. Apollo is not alone.

Other companies like Tesla and Boston Dynamics are also making robots to work with people. By 2025, robots could take the jobs of 2 million workers in factories, says a report.

The rise of robots like Apollo comes from years of study. Smartphones and cars that drive themselves have helped make robots better. A global sickness has also made robots more important.

It has made people invest more money in robots, making it hard to find workers. Apptronik’s work with robots started in 2017. They first made a robot for NASA.
